Shipping & Courier Policy

Can't make it to our Johannesburg workshop? No problem. If you are unable to bring your device in person to 146 Marshall Street, Johannesburg, you are welcome to courier or ship it to us for repair — at your own expense both ways.

Important:

Courier costs to and from our workshop are the client's responsibility in both directions. We recommend using a reputable, insured, and tracked courier service.

How It Works

  1. Contact us first — WhatsApp or email us to describe your device and the fault before sending anything. We'll confirm we can assist with your specific device.
  2. Package your device securely — Use appropriate bubble wrap and sturdy packaging. Piper Electronics is not responsible for damage that occurs during transit.
  3. Ship to our address:

  4. We diagnose your device — Once received, we inspect and diagnose the device and send you a WhatsApp or email quote, usually the same day.
  5. Approve the quote — You review and approve the repair quote before we proceed. No work starts without your authorisation.
  6. We repair and return — Once payment is received, we arrange a courier to return your repaired device. Return shipping cost is charged to the client and confirmed upfront.

Return Shipping

After your repair is complete and full payment is confirmed, we will arrange return courier delivery to your address. We will provide you with the courier cost estimate and tracking details once dispatched.

Payment Before Return

Repaired devices will only be shipped back after full payment for the repair has been received via EFT or another agreed payment method. Banking details and a reference number will be provided with your quote.

Insurance and Liability

We strongly recommend insuring your device with your chosen courier service for the full replacement value during transit. Piper Electronics is not liable for any loss or damage that occurs during shipping or courier transit, in either direction.
